I am looking for info about Oscar and Libby KAMHOOT.  They had a daughter named Ivean who married Walter FINCH in Forsyth.  She was born in 1911.  I am also looking for information about Peter JACKSON, married Mary PRICE who settled on the Little Porcupine in about 1886.  Also Harold FINCH, who was born in Rosebud Creek in 1886.

I am researching the surnames SWART and KENNEDY. I am the Granddaughter of Arby Swart, who was a long time resident of the Rosebud and Forsyth area. He married Margaret Myrtle Kennedy and she was the daughter of James Kennedy, a prominent Rancher of the Rosebud area. My Father was Edward Swart, who resided at Billings, Mt. most of his life. James' brother, Harry Kennedy was postmaster at Rosebud for many years. I would like any information concerning these families. I also have many pictures of families of Rosebud County.

WINEY (born Iowa), in Forsyth in June 1911.  Children of Mary & Lou:  William, born 1886, Custer Co.; George, born 1889, Custer Co.; Carrie, born 1892, Custer Co.; David, born 1895, Custer Co.; Dolly, born 1897, Custer Co.

I'm looking for information regarding a long-time Rosebud County resident (near Colstrip) whose personal exploits have been a part of local legend (so-called "Ambrose Stories") but whose correct name spelling is open to question; thus I have given it a phonetic spelling: Ambrose Kubici. (Ambrose's antics were periodically the subject for weekly columns in the Forsyth Independent by its editor, Don McCausland, back in the 1940's.) In any case, having been reared in Colstrip during that period, and having known Ambrose, I have still failed to learn the correct spelling of his name or of what became of him after the NP mines were shut down in Colstrip in the mid-1950's.

Anyone have any info on a Charles LLOYD moving into the area around 1916 or so. The post office was called Hobsonville.
